The Martha’s Vineyard Chamber of Commerce proudly presents Island Tranquility: Lighthouses Edition, part of its new bi monthly video series created to bring moments of calm, reflection, and quiet joy to our Island community and beyond. Proudly sponsored by Martha’s Vineyard Bank and MOTT, and supported by MVY Radio, the series invites viewers to slow down and reconnect with the simple beauty that defines life on Martha’s Vineyard.

This special edition highlights two of Martha’s Vineyard’s five historic lighthouses as a peaceful sneak peek, inspiring viewers to experience all five in person. The Island’s iconic beacons include Edgartown Lighthouse, East Chop Lighthouse, West Chop Lighthouse, Gay Head (Aquinnah) Lighthouse, and Cape Poge Lighthouse. Together they represent one of the most diverse groups of lighthouses in a small, contained area in the country, according to lighthouse enthusiasts. Each stands watch over Vineyard Sound, Nantucket Sound, Edgartown Harbor, and the waters of Cape Poge, guiding mariners while serving as enduring symbols of the Island’s rich maritime heritage.
