2020 Applicant information
The Perfect Pitch MV contest is a “shark tank” styled pitch contest open to any Vineyard resident with an idea for a small business whose identity is based on the Vineyard OR has a small business on the Vineyard and is ready to evolve the business.
There are three parts to the Perfect Pitch MV contest:
Part 1 The Application
The first part is the written application. You can download the application here, save it to your computer, then fill it out and return it via email to Nancy@mvy.com. The deadline for the written application is 4pm on Friday February 21
If you have questions or would like advise about filling out the application, please come to the optional application workshop on Wednesday February 5 from 5-6pm at the Chamber of Commerce.
All applicants will be notified by February 25 as to whether or not you will be invited to participate in the Perfect Pitch MV contest to be held on Monday March 23 from 6:00-7:30pm at the Old Whaling Church.
Part 2 The Preparation
Wednesday March 4 from 5-6:30pm ALL contestants MUST attend the contest orientation held at the Chamber of Commerce
Additional coaching will be available and we strongly urge you to take advantage of these sessions.
Thursday March 19 5-7pm Mandatory Contest Dress Rehearsal at the Chamber of Commerce. Practice your pitch in front of a group of mentors for final tips before the contest.
Part 3 The Contest
The 4th Annual Perfect Pitch MV will be held on Monday March 23 from 6:30-8pm in the Baylies Room at the Old Whaling Church.

- Participants have three minutes to make their Perfect Pitch and an additional 2 minutes to respond to questions by our panel of judges.
