Night Heron Gallery is an artist-owned and operated cooperative gallery in the heart of downtown Vineyard Haven. The fun selection of local handcrafted artworks is worth checking out! Here, you can find handmade baskets and bags made by BasketCase MV, incredibly fun and colorful 3D cut paper illustrations by Taylor Stone, the charming fine leather works of Leather Treasures MV, and so much more!
On the way into Oak Bluffs, make sure to stop by Althea Designs & Miner Family Gallery. Housed at 34 Beach Road in Vineyard Haven, this colorful shared studio space features lively block-prints and wood cut-outs by Islander Althea Freeman-Miller, as well as creative and vivid mixed-media paintings by local artist Craig D. Miner.

Featherstone Center for the Arts, located in Oak Bluffs, is a remarkable place to not only view local art, but to also participate in it yourself. Check out the open pottery studios, beading activities, and painting studios coming up over the holidays - just to name a few! Featherstone also hosts a Holiday Gift Show from mid-November through mid-December ~ a fantastic opportunity to grab thoughtful and unique gifts for the family.
