Martha’s Vineyard is well known for its summer landscape of busy streets and packed beaches, but a little less known is the Island’s incredible arts and culture scene that culminates in the autumn. Fall for the Arts, now in its 5th year, highlights the incredible and one-of-a-kind events that only happen on Martha’s Vineyard in the fields of dance, film, performing arts, literature, theater, poetry, visual arts, culinary arts, and festivals.

Columbus Day Weekend, Oct 7 – 10

13th Annual Art of Chocolate Festival: Indulge your sweet tooth and artistic flare at this culinary and visual arts festival, held at Featherstone Center for the Arts.
 
Vineyard Artisans Festival: The Island’s longest running art festival that celebrates the crafts, arts, wares, and talents of only Island artists, for a genuine “made on the Vineyard” experience.
 
Local Wild Food Challenge: A culinary event for the true foodie, this event hosts professional and amateur chefs as they compete using local, wild ingredients found only on Martha’s Vineyard.

Martha’s Vineyard Food & Wine Festival: One of the most anticipated events not only of the fall but of the year!
